Scalp protector by Walker Tape forms a protective barrier between your skin and the tape or glue to prevent your scalp from irritation. Also, this thin barrier prevents oil or sweat from getting out to break the bond. If you live in a hot or humid climate or have oily or sweaty skin, or swim a lot, be sure to apply a thin layer of scalp protector before you apply glue or tape onto your scalp.

The difference between Scalp Protector and Scalp Protector Thick is that if you are going for a hold time of not more than a week, then you can go with normal version Scalp protector. While if you are going for hold times over a week, you’ve got to use Scalp Protector Thick.

The Dab-on bottle makes the application process very easy.

incredible!

This product blocks the sweat and allows me to wear my hairpiece for a month in central California where the daily temperatures are 100 to 115 in the summer. That is incredible! Will recommend it to my friends.

great product!

This product is excellent! Don't leave home without! It really does give you the added protection so as to deter any infection or irritation in the head area.

2 days extended

I use ghost bond xl - the promised 2-3 weeks hold, only last me 1 week TOPS without using scalp protector. After I use this scalp protector, it lasted 1 week and 2 days.

don't use too much

Not sure whether it is just me but I find that if I apply too much scalp protector to a certain spot, the unit edge in that area lifts earlier than other areas. I guess too much is not good.
